1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the FirstGenTalks app (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and FirstGenTalks LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults aged 15 and older.

By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of the Service

FirstGenTalks provides tools, guidance, and AI-powered educational content, including:

• Student–coach matching

• Budgeting and financial-wellness features

• AI-generated insights and recommendations

• User accounts, authentication, and personal profiles

• In-app messaging

• Push notifications

• Free and premium subscription plans

The Service does not provide licensed financial, legal, investment, or tax advice. All content is for informational and educational purposes only.

4. User Accounts

To use the Service, you may create an account using:

• Email and password

• Google Sign-In

• Apple Sign-In

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Keep your login credentials secure

• Notify us immediately at contact@firstgentalks.com of unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

FirstGenTalks offers both free and premium plans.

5.1 Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

5.2 Billing

Payments are processed via Stripe, Apple App Store  & Google Play Store.

Refunds are managed according to each store’s refund policies.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Misuse or reverse engineer the Service

• Attempt to breach or disable security features

• Upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content

• Use the Service to harass or harm others

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without consent

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Parts of FirstGenTalks use artificial intelligence to generate insights.

AI outputs may sometimes be:

• Inaccurate

• Incomplete

• Based on limited data

You agree not to rely solely on AI-generated advice for financial, legal, or major personal decisions.

8. Coaching & Matching Disclaimer

Coach matching and communication features are provided as-is.

Coaches are not employees of FirstGenTalks LLC.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of information

• Availability

• Outcomes or results

9. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at:

https://firstgentalks.com/privacy

By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Breach these Terms

• Misuse the Service

• Engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by emailing contact@firstgentalks.com.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FirstGenTalks LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• The Service is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify FirstGenTalks LLC from any claims arising out of:

• Your use of the Service

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your content or data shared within the app

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.

We will notify you via in-app message or email.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State(s) in which FirstGenTalks LLC operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
